Digital Dentistry

Faster, Safer, More Comfortable & Affordable Dentistry

How many times have you walked through a dentist office, doctor’s office, or heck, even a gym, wondering what in the world is that used for? Unknown equipment and technology can be intimidating especially when it comes to being used anywhere close to the mouth. We get that, but we don’t use big fancy tools and technology just to say we can.

The technology used actually serves a purpose, which is to give you the most comfortable and rewarding dental experience you’ve ever had, and ever will. We take pride in the investments we’ve made in these progressive, break-through technologies, and because our patients are the ones who benefit the most, take a little pride yourself.

The world of digital dentistry is here, and we’re using this modern technology to keep your costs down and elevate our level of service. To help you understand what we use in our office and how it’s better than your run of the mill dentist office, we’ve put together a little guide that tells you all you need to know. Go ahead and check it out!

3D X-rays

What is it?

This inventive tool allows us to take a far more superior 3D picture of your tooth. It uses a cone beam that fully surrounds your tooth capturing a full, detailed image all the way around. Unlike a typical 2D x-ray, this truly shows us every precise detail we need to know, including not only images of your mouth but also the skull.

How does it help me?

The quality and accuracy of these images gives us the information needed to better diagnose any problems and put together the perfect treatment plan for you moving forward. No more back and forth imaging to capture the right picture, this machine does effectively does it all at once. This technology assesses everything from you possibly needing braces to providing the exact placement for implants in a single visit.

Why is it better?

Aside from helping us to properly diagnose issues, this machine also reduces the amount of radiation exposure that normal x-rays emit with every use. Talk about a health win!

3D Printing

What is it?

This machine prints a 3D model of your mouth using the information we get from intraoral scanner using cost efficient materials that can be produced in-house.

How does it help me?

You benefit directly from this through the accuracy of our results as well as the speed and efficiency in which they’re delivered. We don’t have to wait for our information to be sent out to labs, but can quickly determine a plan of action for your dental needs.

Why is it better?

The traditional models that get created using impressions can be flawed. From the delivery of the models during transportation to the actual creation of the impressions, several factors can have inaccuracies due to mishandling or human error. Using digital printing and digital dentistry across the board eliminates all the second guess, waiting time, and higher costs altogether.

Intraoral Scanner

What is it?

This is a handheld wand so to speak that gives us the ability to scan the inside of your entire mouth while simultaneously taking a full digital impression.

How does it help me?

Being able to take accurate and consistent scans and impressions of your mouth is key in putting together the perfect treatment plan. The intraoral scanner allows us to do just that without the potential error of using old fashion impression trays. This amazing technology helps us create our own in-house Invisible Aligners, saving you money! Who doesn’t like that? Using this technology, we also have access to 3D records of your teeth in case of real emergencies like a broken or heaven forbid, knocked out tooth or even broken retainer. So yes, this technology comes in handy!

Why is it better?

You know that goopy silicone material that is used to take an impression of your mouth? This does that without the goop. Also, the results of the scan can be analyzed immediately without the days or weeks of waiting. Definitely ups the level of the restorative process for our patients when they need it most. Basically, this scanner gets us exactly what we need faster and more cost-effectively. No more physical trays to store that sit and go to waste. Everything is digital and is becoming the standard for a truly excellent dental experience.
